The project “Digital Citizenship in Schools” was held at Alte University, organized by the Digital Transformation Center and the IT School, in partnership with the STEM Teachers’ Association.
More than 60 applicant teachers were selected as part of the Digital Citizenship project and attended four workshops over two weeks. The workshops covered the following topics:
- Digital Security
- Opportunities and Threats of Artificial Intelligence
- Why Media Literacy?
Cybersecurity Needs, Education and Careers
At the same time, each teacher led a team of 2 to 4 students (grades 9 to 12) from their school, who explored challenges related to digital citizenship at school and developed strategies to overcome them.
At the end of the project, a student conference was organized at Alte University, during which the teams presented their papers. The teachers of the three best teams were awarded special prizes, and the students received educational grants.
