As part of the CIF grant competition Alte University conducted three significant training sessions

As part of the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF) grant competition, three significant training sessions were conducted under the leadership of Alte University and the Georgian Farmers’ Association:
 

  • Artificial Intelligence in the Agricultural Sector
  • Use of Drones in the Agricultural Sector and Educational Programs
  • Smart Devices in the Agricultural Sector
     

The trainings lasted for three weeks and consisted of a total of 18 sessions. Of these, 6 sessions were dedicated to the topic of drone usage, led by Giorgi Taqadze, a lecturer at Alte University’s School of IT.
 

The final two-day practical session was held at Telavi State University and was attended by students and lecturers from Alte University.
 

As a reminder, through collaboration with Alte University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Telavi State University named after Iakob Gogebashvili won the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF) grant competition, implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia with the support of the World Bank.
