Alte University is commencing training sessions for educators as part of the "Artificial Intelligence at School" project.
A total of 681 teachers from across Georgia have expressed their interest in participating. In light of this significant demand, the Alte University team has decided to expand the cohort from the initially planned 30 participants to 64. These participants will be divided into two distinct groups, with each group receiving guidance from seasoned educators specializing in this field.
Over the course of the project, a total of 13 lectures will be conducted, spanning a duration of 26 hours. The sessions will cover a range of topics, including an introductory overview of artificial intelligence, utilization of existing AI platforms, mobile application prototyping with MIT App Inventor, integration of basic AI models, and ensuring information security in educational settings.
All lectures will be conducted online, with a concluding conference to be held at the Alte University campus following the training module.
The primary objective of the project is to familiarize educators with the fundamental principles of artificial intelligence, equip them with knowledge about various AI platforms, and enhance their access to technological expertise.
The project is spearheaded by the School of Information Technologies at Alte University, with collaboration from partners including TBC, Techdro, Teachers Lab, and the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association.
