Alte University hosted a four-day practical Arduino Week for young people interested in technology and engineering.
The main goal of the project was to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Arduino and electronics, while also promoting open-source technologies and resources among school students.
The initiative was organized and mentored by Alte University Computer Science students Saba Gvaramadze and Levan Omadze, under the supervision of the university’s affiliated assistant, Giorgi Grigolia.
Throughout the week, participants actively engaged in various practical activities and assignments. Students learned how to use Arduino IDE, explored the basics of coding, worked with sensors, and gained hands-on experience using multimeters.
Theoretical knowledge gained during the sessions was applied to real-world projects using the resources of Alte University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.
At the end of the program, each participant received a certificate of completion.
Initiatives like this play an important role in promoting STEM education, increasing youth motivation, and strengthening interest in technological fields.
