Alte University announces the admission of students to the Youth Economic Forum, which is supported by the USAID Georgia Economic Governance Program.
During the project, students across Georgia will have the opportunity to attend training sessions, participate in panel discussions and participate in the final debate.
The following topics will be discussed within the framework of the debate: Tourism reform; Environmental governance and water resources in Georgia; Digitization reform (ethical artificial intelligence) AI; Capital market (Crowd Funding).
After the training sessions, the participants of the Youth Economic Forum will visit the representatives of business and state agencies from the following directions: the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the National Bank of Georgia, the Regulatory Commission for Energy and Water Supply (SEMEC), the National Tourism Agency and the Parliament of Georgia. Within the framework of the mentioned meetings, students will have the opportunity to talk to the high-ranking representative of each agency and receive information of interest to them on the mentioned issues.
At the stage of receiving applications, representatives of Alte University and USAID Georgia will hold physical meetings in various universities across Georgia (Kutaisi, Batumi, Gori, Zugdidi, Akhaltsikhe) and provide detailed information about the project to interested students.
The forum will be held in the month of May, and participation in it will be possible for students of any level under the age of 25.
Certificates for participation in the forum will be given to the students at the final event. Each of them will additionally have the opportunity to become a member of the Economic Forum team and engage in similar events as a certified trainer.
The project aims to raise the awareness of young people about the economic processes in the country and help them to actively participate in the construction of the European future of Georgia.
