On July 2, the awarding ceremony of the 'Georgian Responsible Business Competition - Meliora 2024' took place at the Tbilisi History Museum 'Karvasla', where the best projects and companies of the year in the CSR direction were recognized. This event was held as part of a project financed by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation."
For the second time, Alte University has become a finalist in this competition in the community support category. Last year, we achieved this with the entrants' club and projects supporting school students, and this year, with the international project implemented in collaboration with Techdro: Technovation Girls Georgia, we have once again made it to the top five.
The winners were selected in the following seven categories:
- Green Initiative
- Responsible Employer
- Supporting Communities
- Cross-Sector Partnership – Shared Responsibility
- Transparency and Report on CSR and Corporate Sustainability
- CSR Manager of the year
- Responsible large company of the year
The projects were evaluated by a jury whose members were leading experts in the field, from international and local public organizations and academic circles.
The winning companies in different categories of the competition were awarded by representatives of the diplomatic corps and international experts in the field of corporate social responsibility.
Alte University is actively involved in similar events and constantly tries to contribute to solving important issues for society.
