Alte University had the honor of hosting the Ambassador of India to Georgia - H.E. Mr. Amit Kumar Mishra, marking an important milestone in strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
From the university’s side, the meeting was attended by Vice President for Marketing and Business Development, Ani Amiranashvili; Dean of the International School of Medicine, Dr. Giorgi Gabisonia; and Head of the International Student Recruitment Unit, Mariam Mumladze. The Ambassador was accompanied by the Consul, Mr. Anil Yadav.
During the visit, the Ambassador was introduced to Alte University’s academic environment and international student community, with special emphasis on the opportunities available for Indian students.
The Ambassador was also given a comprehensive campus tour, where he explored the university’s modern infrastructure, learning facilities, student-centered environment, and the resources available for quality education.
With a significant number of Indian students already pursuing their studies in Georgia, such engagements play a vital role in fostering trust, strengthening bilateral relations, and further positioning Georgia - and Alte University in particular - as a preferred destination for medical education.
