About academic processes

Dear Students,

As you may already be aware, on May 12th , the Student Self Government of Alte University issued a statement indicating that they, along with students from other Georgian universities, are on strike and will not be attending ongoing lectures and seminars due to the ongoing protests in Tbilisi.

We recognize that participating in the strike or expressing opinions in any way is the individual decision of each person. We wish to emphasize that Alte University deeply respects the opinions of each and every student and upholds their right of self-expression. At our university, the free expression of opinions and the ability to state  any position freely are highly encouraged.

The aforementioned statement has naturally raised questions among the students and lecturers about the ongoing academic processes. We fully realize the responsibility that the university has towards each and every student. Our primary duty is to ensure smooth and continuous teaching and learning processes for students who are involved in ongoing academic activities. Therefore, we want to inform you that Alte University will continue to fulfill its obligations, and all lectures and exams will proceed according to the academic calendar. Therefore, academic activities at Alte University will continue without any changes.

Additionally, we want to reassure you that,  both Alte University and Bokeria Clinic are situated in areas that remain safe and secure and it is absolutely safe for you to attend your lectures, quizzes, and exams as usual.

Wishing you safe days ahead!

Sincerely,

Alte University Administration
