A new school of information technology (IT) has been added to the list of schools at Alte University. In the 2023–2024 academic year, English-language and Georgian-language computer science undergraduate programs will receive the first flow of Georgian and international students.
One of the main functions of a higher education institution is to understand the context of the labour market and prepare in-demand professionals. Therefore, a particular group led by Nana Dikhaminjia prepared a comparative analysis of Alte University's undergraduate computer science program and 11 universities with similar programs in America, Europe, and the United Kingdom and created Georgian and English-language computer science programs of modern standards.
The Dean of the IT School is a Doctor of Technical Sciences, Nani Arabuli.
